Philanthropy in the State Capitol Day
Join Philanthropy California as we embark on a day of learning, policy, and community – with lots of laughter sprinkled in – at our state capitol. We invite you to be a part of our delegation as we educate lawmakers about the issues most important to philanthropy and the communities we serve.
Philanthropy California’s annual Philanthropy in the State Capitol is a special event bringing together our state’s elected officials with leaders of our sector. Members from across our three regional associations gather together to walk the halls of the state capitol, bringing attention to the most pressing issues affecting our communities, including the 2020 Census, child welfare, health and immigration.
About Philanthropy California
Philanthropy CA is an alliance of Northern California Grantmakers (NCG), San Diego Grantmakers (SDG) and Southern California Grantmakers (SCG). Our combined membership represents more than 500 foundations, corporate funders, philanthropic individuals and families, giving circles and government agencies who invest billions every year to support communities across the state, the country and worldwide. Philanthropy CA taps into the deep regional expertise and connections of funders to increase philanthropy’s impact in building and sustaining thriving, equitable communities. Together, we can impact our members, the nonprofits they support and the communities they serve.
