Apply for the 2018 Golden State Learning Series!
***Application period now closed***
Grantmakers for Effective Organizations and Philanthropy California are pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for the 2018 Golden State Learning Series. This highly interactive, six-session online learning series gives California grantmakers the opportunity to learn from peers about grantmaking approaches and practices that nonprofits say contribute to their success. Local examples and regional experiences are woven into the program, which also offers participants the opportunity to pinpoint key challenges, reflect on personal experiences and identify key actions that they individually can take to improve practice.
The series will kick off on September 5 and close on November 6, 2018. You can learn more about the series and each of the sessions here. Join Sergio Cuellar of Sierra Health Foundation, Manuel Fierro of First 5 LA, Vanessa Camarena-Arredondo of Akonadi Foundation and Catherine Bryan of First Nations Development Institute as they discuss topics such as collaboration, learning and evaluation, inclusive grantmaking and capacity building.
