H.R. 6408 – The Save the Organizations that Serve (SOS) Act

This federal bill will play an important role in shaping federal resources for nonprofits in the next tranche of federal stimulus dollars. Specifically, the federal bill would dedicate $60 billion for nonprofits, prioritize nonprofits in unemployment insurance relief (for the nonprofits that deferred payments to the fund), and open up future funding to larger nonprofit organizations (more than 500 employed).
